Cinnamon rolls are not only one of the best-tasting desserts in our experience but also the best smelling.

Stuffed with vanilla and filled with cheese, the cinnamon rolls are packed in brown sugar drizzling with cream in every bite.  It might not sound too healthy to some consumers but sometimes it is okay to have something indulgent and special. To make our cinnamon roll recipes creative we have also included a touch of savory casseroles that make delicious use of these cinnamon rolls.

Tips For Making The Best Cinnamon Rolls:

Yeast Activation: For some people, it can be confusing to identify when the yeast has been activated.  If you are using dry yeast, dissolve it in a liquid such as warm. You will know that yeast has been activated once the bubbles start forming.

If you are using instant yeast, which is what we recommend, you don’t have to sit around and wait as the dough rises quickly. We also recommend adding sugar as it speeds up the process of activation.

Heating Milk: Avoid overheating the milk as it kills the yeast and as a result, your cinnamon rolls will become flat. We recommend dipping your finger to test. If you have accidentally warmed it too much then wait until it cools down to the temperature of the water bath.

Substitutes for dairy products: If you are lactose intolerant, you can use almond milk, vegan cream, or vegan butter instead of standard milk.

Butter temperature: All of these recipes have used melted butter in the cinnamon roll filling. If you don’t use butter at room temperature, all of the butter will leak out and get wasted even before the baking process.

Egg temperature: Make sure the eggs you are using are also at room temperature as this could affect yeast and cause coagulation which could ruin the texture of the rolls.

Storing requirements: You can keep these rolls at room temperature for 2 days after which you must refrigerate them. These stay fresh for up to 5 days.

Refrigeration requirements: If you are planning on refrigerating before baking, then freeze the dough after the first rise. After baking refrigeration requires the rolls to be well-wrapped in an air-tight container. But when you are ready to eat, after defrosting you have to warm the rolls in the oven at 350 degrees F for 30 seconds:
