Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups wide egg noodles
  • 1 ½ lb beef stew meat
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp beef bullion
  • 8 oz baby portabella mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 large carrots peeled and chopped
  • 2 celery ribs chopped
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 6 cloves of garlic minced
  • salt as per taste
  • black pepper as per taste

How to Make?
 

  • Except the egg noodles, add all the ingredients in a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Cover the slow cooker with the lid properly and cook on low settings for about 8 hours. If you are in a hurry, you can set the slow cooker on High for about 5 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Once done, shred the meat using two forks, and also stir in egg noodles.
  • When the noodles are almost ready, cover the crockpot again and cook on HIGH for 10-15 minutes. Here the basic point to note is to cook until the noodles are tender.
  • Once the noodles are tender, put the soup in a bowl.
  • The soup is ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • One small onion diced
  • Three large carrots peeled and chopped
  • Two celery ribs chopped
  • 8 oz baby portabella mushrooms sliced
  • 4-6 cloves of garlic minced
  • Two tablespoons of tomato paste
  • One teaspoon of beef bullion or one cube of beef bullion
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups wide egg noodles

Direction

Set the cooker to sauté mode. When the oil is heated, add the steak to the saucepan. Heat until the steak is done, about 2-3 minutes. Take the meat and set it aside.

Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or till celery and carrots are tender—Cook for another minute after adding the garlic.

Pour in the broth and water. Scrape the bottom of the pressure cooker with a wooden spoon to remove any parts that have clung to it. Scrape it well to avoid burning during cooking.

Return the meat to the pressure cooker with the remaining ingredients EXCEPT for the uncooked noodles.

Close the lid and seal the valve—Cook for 25 minutes under pressure.

Now continue stirring the uncooked pasta for some minutes—you a low the flame of the pot as well.

Now remove the bay leaf, and it is ready to be served.
