For The Chocolate Matcha Marble Pound Cake ½ cup unsalted butter room temperature 1 cup raw sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract ½ cup plain yogurt ¼ cup whole milk 1.5 cups all-purpose flour ¼ teaspoon baking powder ¼ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon matcha powder 2 tablespoons cocoa powder For The Chocolate Glaze 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 2 tablespoons whole milk 1 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven at 350℉.
Whisk butter and sugar together until it is light.
Add one egg each time while beating properly. Gradually, bring in vanilla extract and yogurt.
Blend flour, sea salt, soda, and baking powder.
Break the batter into two halves.
Mix matcha powder with one half and mix cocoa powder with the other half.
On a loaf cake pan, put it in layers as you transfer one-third of the batter to another.
Use a knife to create patterns that swirl throughout the mixture.
Put the cake pan into the oven; bake for 40-45 minutes
Allow cooling down before tasting
