Ingredients

For The Chocolate Matcha Marble Pound Cake

  • ½ cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

For The Chocolate Glaze

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

How to Make?

  • Preheat oven at 350℉.
  • Whisk butter and sugar together until it is light.
  • Add one egg each time while beating properly. Gradually, bring in vanilla extract and yogurt.
  • Blend flour, sea salt, soda, and baking powder.
  • Break the batter into two halves.
  • Mix matcha powder with one half and mix cocoa powder with the other half.
  • On a loaf cake pan, put it in layers as you transfer one-third of the batter to another.
  • Use a knife to create patterns that swirl throughout the mixture.
  • Put the cake pan into the oven; bake for 40-45 minutes
  • Allow cooling down before tasting
